Vaccines Available:

Rabies Vaccine:

Protects against the Rabies Virus, which is a fatal viral disease that affects the central nervous system of all mammals (including humans).

FVRCP Vaccine:

Protects against Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Chlamydiosis, and Panleukopenia. Rhinotrachetis is a upper-respiratory virus that cats are susceptible to, it is highly contagious and cats of all ages are at risk, especially young kittens. Calicivirus is also an upper-respiratory viruses that cats can catch. Chlamydiosis is a bacteria that causes respiratory disease and is extremely contagious in young kittens. Panleukopenia is a viral disease that primarily affects young kittens, but cats of all ages are at risk.

Feline Leukemia Vaccine:

Protects against the retrovirus, Feline Leukemia. This is a fatal disease that breaks down a cat’s protective immune responses so that the cat cannot fight infections that would normally be resisted.

Recommended Kitten Vaccines:

Kittens should receive kitten vaccines starting
at 7 – 8 weeks of age. They should get booster vaccines every 3 – 4 weeks until
they are 16 weeks of age. At that time they should receive their adult boosters,
including Rabies.
